poured water 3 times; “I baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy

Biblical Basis- Jesus getting
baptized in the Jordan
Baptismal Candle- candle given to
you at your baptism; lit on anniversary of baptism, marriage, and death
White Garment- shows that you are
cleansed of Original Sin
Effects of Baptism- washes away
